The following rules/guidelines are meant to supplement and/or reiterate the registration agreement accepted by each member at the time of registration on the site.

1. Members must NOT threaten, harass, stalk, defame, abuse or flame other forum members. This includes content contained within forum posts, shout box posts, and personal messages.

2. Members must NOT use language, post attachments, avatars or signatures which are or could be considered racist or otherwise discriminatory.

3. Members must NOT use this site/forum for any soliciting or illegal purpose and you must not post information or material that breaches or infringes any person's contractual rights, intellectual property, confidentiality, privacy rights or any other rights

4. Members must NOT use language, post attachments, avatars or signatures which contain obscene/vulgar content.

5. Members must consider all posts to the forum/shout box to be the opinion and views of the author, and not necessarily that of the site administrators or moderators.

6. Members must keep all posts on topic and constructive. Nonsense or fragmented posts will be removed.

7. Members must avoid double (or more) posting on threads. And the use of ALL CAPITALS while posted is prohibited and such posts will be removed.

8. Although site administration does not routinely screen, edit or review messages posted on the forum/shout box, we reserve the right to monitor or remove any posting (or part thereof), at any time, without notice

9. Consequences for breaching this Code of Conduct or the registration agreement can include warnings, temporary banning, permanent banning, etc. at our administrators discretion. Our decisions are final in all matters relevant to this Code of Conduct.

10. XBLSQUADRONS.COM reserves the right to alter this Code of Conduct at any time without notice.

Here's a copy of the terms of use policy you agreed to when registering.

Due to several recent events and issues that have been raised it became clear to me and Fero that an update of our Code of Conduct and Terms of Use Policy needed to be made. There is no discussion on the below stated, the new updated rules are in effect as of this post being made.

You will not advertise or promote other discussion boards, chat systems, online communities or other websites on XBLSQUADRONS.COM within posts, mass/spam private messages, avatars or signatures without prior written permission from one of the XBLSQUADRONS.COM administrators. You will not choose a username that is the same as website domain, subdomain, or URL for which you are associated. Doing so will result in removal of your post(s) and immediate posting restrictions or termination of your account. Advertising or promotion of your squadrons website or message board shall only take place in your recruitment post/info. Including your websites name and URL in your profile is the only place other than your recruitment/info post your website should be included.

You will not use the private messaging system to send mass messages to multiple member accounts. All private messages are subject to these terms and conditions, violations will result in immediate account termination. You also agree that Private Messages are confidential. You will not post or publically display PMs received from XBLSQUADRONS.COM staff or any other members, in any way, without the written permission of the author. The Owners, at their discretion, may review the content of your private messages when, and only when, complaints are received from the recipient(s) of your messages.

You will not post, use the chat feature or use the private message system to solicit members of XBLSQUADRONS.COM on behalf of another message board, online community or website. You will not attempt to use your membership to encourage or lure other members in any way to other websites or discussion boards that are not part of XBLSQUADRONS.COM or endorsed partner sites (announcements of which would me made publicly in the information board). Doing so will result in removal of your post(s) and immediate termination of your account.

You will not use these boards to organize "attacks" on other boards, blogs, or discussion groups, squadrons or any other website. Doing so will result in removal of your post(s) and immediate termination of your account.
