That's all there is to it if you are a lone wolf don't worry you can still join but you will be placed as a mercenary pilot and flight hours will be increased to earn rank
Flight Hours are needed in order to advance to the next rank
Once a trainee has completed training and testing he will be promoted to 2nd Lt.
2nd Lt. to 1st Lt. requires 30 hours
1st Lt. to Capt. requires 60 hours
Capt. to Maj. requires 100 hours
Maj. to Lt. Col. requires 150 hours
Lt. Col. to Col. requires 200 hours
Col. to Brig. Gen. requires 250 hours
Brig. Gen. to Maj. Gen. requires 300 hours
Maj. Gen. to Lt. Gen. requires 400 hours
Lt. Gen. to Gen. requires 550 hours
Each rank has a different set of responsibilities and a different set of things for someone to do
Gen. rank is usually the rank of council members however someone else may recieve even if not elected on to the council
