i am a 25s satellite  maintainer/operator. i work with satcom so i have a secret clearance thus i really cant take any pics of me and put them online of me doing my job. but if u go to google and look up satcom pheonix with google it'll shpw u something that i can work on and the same for satcom 85 and 93 terminals but right now i am working with a stt. most of the relevant links are in the first 4 of each search but basically i go in, setup the dish or terminal, plug in some frequencies and some cables and look for a satellite in orbit with nothing more than a rough elevation and azimuth looking for some receiving power from the other side trying to connect. but once its done after that its all troubleshooting from there if something messes up i just go and fix it. when its time to leave i pack up and head for the hills called home. now as for the fish the big ones are stinging catfish, go figure right? and the smaller ones are carp, these suckers are everwhere through the waterways of liberty! and i am serious there is a crap load of water here even though its a desert! but i digress, the doors are to one of Hussein's palaces i believe it was called al-faw.... i love how i was trying to look bad-ass in his throne but little can u see the sweat stain of the years that chair has been set on AND might i add bounced on, for all those under 18 i ask u not to read anymore of this sentence, oh wait too late! oops... bad joke there but whatever its my deployment and i can make any joke i want about it dammit! :D i got more but its too much of a pain to all of them up, i might put a few more up later but this is it for right now. so i hope ya enjoyed ur explanation omega! cause it was a doosey!
