Alright ya old folgies who still remember playing the ps2, there is now a prgm that is decent for some computers to run the disks or an iso copy of the game. now it is not perfect i admit but thats how these prgms are and i am srry to say that the ace combat series does have some series issues with the prgm but it works well for most other games and the transition between iso's are pretty easy especially with a gameshark or codebreaker disk. there are talks of it even being the base for the ps3 transition prgm for the future and there has been tests that prove that it works to a certain degree but has not been fully released but sharpness of a game has greatly increased since moving it to the pc. although with all that i have said there are still some games that cannot be played to due certain issues within the games making and the prgms capabilities that needs to be put out right here and now. like i have said before the ace combat series is one of the to where either the sky is not showing up or the ground is constantly changing to something that it should not be. i have used it to play several old games to where it includes ffx, ffx-2, ffxii, wild arms 3, 4 and 5 as well as some more games with decent results, but the latest prgm that is out and that i am using is really experimental and there are no clear signs of any side effects on the computer as of yet but so far most games have had a decent review by my standards, although now i am using an asus i5 laptop, 1 gb graphics card ram, 4 gb physical ram, 4 gb of virtual ram, dual core 2.27 cpu and a hd laptop screen also a gigabit ethernet card. i got it from best buy for about $809 or $890 american. i purchased the 3 year insurance plan that best buy has, it covers any kind of malicious prgms and dust, water and things like that, its was made for the military since i'm here at fort gordon and only for about another month. anyway, i am not putting any links here due to the nature of the content i am talking about but google ps2 emulator and it should take u to the same prgm i am talking about, stay on the first page and u cant go wrong but i will warn u, finding the bios for it is a pain in the ass.
