FRONT MISSION EVOLVED
« on: November 06, 2010, 03:07:33 PM »
Hay guys If your into mech games I think we have a new leader in the mech world. Its only out for two months now and it had no advertisements so its slow going but every chromehounds player in the world is getting it and its an awesome mix of chromehounds and armored core combat.

The one down side it had was just fixed and its now not as hard to rrank up with all the killers from japan being your only foes. There are now enough other players to level the field a bit and you can have a good match with lots of fun.

If anyone wants some help on how to rank up faster or what parts work well and how to counter differant weapons with other weapons I am here at your beck and call. hehehe

Omega if you and your friends are still making a game this style combat with better online match modes and a squad and team system will be the perfect game.

hey that sounds pretty good, i've kept an eye on it but havent lately unfortunately.... but theres also talk of an armored core 5 coming out but thats unknown, theres a trailer for it but it looks like the nexts are still gonna be the main set for the armored core franchise from now on, i liked the older style of armored core, they should just have work more on them that the smooth crap we have to deal with right now... still looking forward to front mission, liked the 3rd one!

Well thats great. I am on every night with a large group of guys. Hit me up with a message and Ill get you on my list so you can aviod the newbie bashing levels. The first 8 levels of the online play are pure hell. We have worked out a system that will get you passed them fast and you will be able to enjoy the game much better. Plus just some tidbids hehe. You will love lvl 29, You get the BAZOOKA. Then at Major & Lt. Colonel you get some very good parts for your WANZER. You will really like the double shot BAZOOKA you get at Major. Its a beast.

But there is always the Nades with a shield trick that can kill all if you want. It can be done with almost any WANZER build and its very little cost in weight to build it.

I will say watch out for the MISSILE WHORES. They are everywere. There is a big war between them and the BAZOOKA BITCHES. Of course I use both on QUADs and piss them both off hehehe. I got to keep my JACKASS tittle in the lime light you know.

hehehehe
Let me know when you want to play cause we give away free kills for the fiurst 8 levels so you can enjoy th egame.

Ive got an update for you guys on this one.

How to start online play and not get owned by all.
______________________________________
There is a vast stretch from the parts and weapons you get when you start and what you have when you finish ranking up. For starters you don't have any bazookas or rifles. (rifles are for snipers) What you have to work with aint much but here are some workable designs that will work for you if you try. You need to start by building wanzer with the lowest weight parts you have. This is step one. This way you know your max payload possible. This keeps things simple. Then you need to think for a second and figure out if you want to get in the face of your foe or stay at some kind of range. This is what will deside your weapons loadout. You will need to lean only one way at the start. You just don't have enough parts to cover range and upclose foes just yet.

After you figure out how you want to face your foes look at the weapons. Those of you that like it up close and personal will need to use the melee for the hands and put rockets on your shoulders. The goal is to have two rocket pods on you, and have either one fist with a shield or two fists. Either way will work. Its up to how you play that will tell you if you chose the correct one. If you are like the run & gun knifers from COD you will want two fists too beat down your foe fast and with a fury. If you are more of a camper that will step out and knife a guy srunning by you want one fist and a shield. These two builds are only good in deathmatches though. They will do no good on domination. Surpremacy is a mix of it all. You will have som eluck with them but not much.

If you like a bit of range to your fights like a heavy weapon on any FPS game you will want to use the machine guns. Try each of them out in the campaign so you know the optimum range of conflict. Each one has a differant range and fire rate so learn them and you will kill. Treat them the same and you will get owned fast. With guns you will need to learn the art of part killing. The real trick to killing with guns is being able to strip you foe of his armor. When you nock the armor down to zero on the arms or chasis you kill that parts stats. Legs are slow and very sluggish in skate mode. Arms don't swing fast and cant aim very well. A sniper with broken arms cant hit if your right in there face at point blank range. These work well with rockets and grenades. Neither are long range and both pack a puch. So you can start hitting them in the legs as you dance and skate around them and hit them hard with rockets and nades.

__________________________________________________________
EASY LEVEL SYSTEM.

Here is the cheep and punk way to get your levels up fast and very easy. Simply start with the light wanzer build add missiles to your shoulders and nothing in your hands. Next put on the aggility backpack so you skat elonger and faster. Now up your tourso as heavy in armor as you can.

Start playing domination matches and just kill and capture the turrets. Forget kills and run from your foes. Don't even bother stopping them fron attacking your turrets. You want them to kill them so you can capture it again. You will need to use low gloss paint settings and after you kill a turrent stay close but out of sight till it comes back. Capture it and run to the next one. You will need to learn the fastest unseen route from one turret to the next and use it. Don't chase down your foe and don't be afraid of deaths. They actually help you level up if you die getting turrets. You want high capture points and maybe a few deaths to boot. This will get you loads of points. The normal is around 300-500 for this method untill you get some parts that will allow you to add a shield and then you can start killing along the way as you keep doing this. You will only need to do this untill you reach level 15. Once there you have enough parts to start trying differant things and killing others as much as you like. If you can start getting about 10-20 captures and 10-20 kills a match with less than 5 deaths you will get around 1000-1600 points per match. This is very hard though unless your in a very large room and you have a ballanced room with equal ranks mostly. Cause high ranks will get loads of kills faster than you can and they will even kill steal at times with out knowing it. Cause your in a team match and its 4V4 mostly.
__________________________________________________________

The last part that will become a art form as you level up is the battle skills. You will have to learn what skills work with your style best and what ones don't. My settings don't work at all for another friend of mine and we use the same exact build. SO you can see how these are the most important part of your build. Don't skip them and learn to think outside the box.
___________________________________________________________

I will be on almost every night around 6-12 eastern time. So I look forward to battle and lets steamroll our foes shall we hehehe

Hey guys I got a new build for you to try out when you want to just waste your foes out there. I have done this myself and its just a bitch to kill. Plus you have very little weapons but your just so well ballanced its hell to face you. I have gotten in the last three days more than 10 matches a night that I get over 30 + kill and at worst 10 deaths.

You will be able to go 1 on three easy unless they hit you from the side or rear.

You need to have only grenades and a single shield in one hand.

Then use the tightest arms. (DLC has the best arms.)

Then you will need to put on the biggest cockpit you can. DLC is best. use the "CALM 200" if you can.

Then the lowest legs you can so your fast and agile. The titan or kebeih work best.

When you set all this up go to your battle skills and add the perfect shield skill lv 1 or two if you can. Then add the healing shield to the third slot.

NOTE: you will only have one battle slot on the first shield you get in the game. You will have to be a captain or better to get the better shield. But the build works either way. Its just better as you upgrade the parts.

====================

Now when you fight do not get close cause of splash damage. You will kill yourself. Jump in the air if they are close to avoid the splash damage.

You will need to practice the low shot trick. Learn to fire while looking down at the feet of your target. This will force the nades to hit them in the feet but mostly in the pit. If you can get good at this you can take out three or more at  a time by one shotting them and moving on to the next target.

DLC for FRONT MISSION EVOLVED
« Reply #5 on: November 16, 2010, 05:21:29 PM »
OK things have gotten good now that the DLC is out and we have worked out the tricks and bonus settings each item gets you.

The items to focus on are the rocket packs & the 5 shot bazooka. It does 550 damage and can kill almost any foe with 1-2 shots.

The Totuo WANZER is a must have fore the more advanecd builds you will start to use. These parts are the lightest and most affective when trying to get that extra punch in your weapons.

The CALM WANZER is also the 2nd strongest in the game and is more combat affective than the strongest WANZER build. You will learn to love the cockpit of this build. Its tough and heavy arrmored. You will have more time in a fight to kill your foe with this build.

You will need to learn how to maximise your energy amount with the lowest weight possible so you can load the top level weapons.
Trey to use these parts to help with this. They are all very light weight and pack a big punch.

When you start the game you will need to learn to use the rockets and bazooka well to battle the higher ranked gamers.
========================

NOTE: There is a big battle going on right now against the nade builds. A few guys will only use the lightest build with the biggest nades and a shield. This build packs a puch so hard it has a damage rate over 4000 if it hits you dea on. This will kill you in one shot no watter what you have as parts.

To deal with this build learn to use the bazooka well and master the heat missile pods. These weapons can take down the nade build fast and with ease if you can hit them. Thet move very fast and know how to dodge splash damage so you need to hit them directly instead.

=========================

Gamer Group.

There are about 10 of us who play together almost every night that are willing to help new gamers get better. Look for these clan tags and just ask.

(TTM)
(WAR)
(BRO)

==========
These groups are squad members from Chrome Hounds that are working hard to remove the glitchers and lag switchers from the game. We know how to spoil there wins and kills they are going for and it does not matter if they cheat or not.

For laggers use Heat seaking missiles.
For lag shields use nades and hit the area with splash instead of direct fire.
If they are going for cheep kills or wins stick with domination play only and you will be able to beat them cause they cant play any other style than deathmatch. If its not free for all they loose.

Looks like things are getting better and better. We just got another update and its fixed a few things. But they still need to deal with the grenades and the team ballance issue. There is a bit of trouble when the game puts all the good players on one side from time to time. Well actually way to often its a one sided match for most. But we are getting close to a good setting for everyone.

The bazooka got its bump down in damage that it needed. So now the bazooka is not as powerfull as it was. Plus the fire rate for heat seakers was slowed down a bit with a longer recharge time and a faster over heating setup. Shoud fix those two weapons. The grenades are still the most powerfull weapon in the game dishing out over 1100 damage in one hit, & thats the low level grenades the high level grenades dish out almost 4000 damage in one volly. So you still need to stay clear of the nade whore build that a few guys like to run.

gigglecollector & RX105 are the most noted nade whores in the game and if you stay clear of them you will have a lot more fun and very little unballanced games. Though hanging ouwith me and my guys you will get to watch these guys get there ass handed back to them in so many ways it aint even a battle hehehe

Re: FRONT MISSION EVOLVED new DLC maps are out!!!!!
« Reply #7 on: November 24, 2010, 07:52:28 PM »
OK great news we have a new set of maps to play on and a new game mode to play.

The new maps are very nice and they give the games a whole new style of play. The normal speed combat does not work well on these new maps. Snipers and heaters are the key to one of these maps. You will want to also learn how to fight at a distance to stay alive. The vast open desert between the three base zones is when you will die if your not ready.

The new game mode is called last stand. Its just you or you and a buddy that must stand against 25 waves of enemy Wanzers. The game devs went all out for this one. They have made some really sweet builds and it gets very hard to stay alive when you get to level 10 or higher. The vast array of builds and the tactics used against you make this game mode lots of fun and you will spend hours in the garage trying to find the right build to make it all the way to the 25th wave.

I will say its a great feeling to get past level 25 but keep your head cause............

Well ill just let you figure it out.

Oh and just a note the NPC wanzers use DLC parts so be rerady for some fun hehehe

OK I am verry happy to announce the start of weekly squad battles for this game. There are now about 6 squads playing this game with any kind of skill. So Our group has started the squad battles and as I thought we rule. I would like to say that the mech division of The Dark Angels known as Ton Ton Machuote is now the leading squad in the game we have played all but two of the other squads and won. Some by a lot others by a bit less but none have even been close. So I would like to see some of you have some fun and our group has all the best builds for free too any gamer who wants them. We do our best to even the field. We have even run off the three bitch gamers who prey on the rookies. They no longer play in our rooms and you are safe to learn the game with out a death every 20 seconds.

If you are looking for some fun join us if you want to join the frey we are ready for a real fight. The socalled leaders on the leaderboard don't even bother with us cause there glitches and hacks don't work against us. If you see a lagger use heaters if they use a lag shield use nades. If they have a boosted parts list use bazookas and gattz. Learn to love the shield and master the dance.
