Topic: Final Fantasy 13

Well I bought it and it's pretty friggin cool! It still has a timer foe attacks but u can stack multiple attacks or skillS back to back and make cool combos. It's similar to ff x-2 but the battle system is a little bit more easy yet difficult at the same time. Dodging is pretty easy now but still hard to make as a fine skill. If I had to sugguest this game to someone I would most definitely sugguest it for anyone.  The battle system is pretty easy to understand after the first couple of battles. Weaponry is kinda hard to get because u can lvl up ur weapons with spoils from fights. I hope people get this game cause it's fun as hell!!!

i dont see that much similarity to X-2's battle system. I say the system is like a cross between VII and Crisis Core for the psp.

ive played this game for the last weekend, will continue to until i clock it, but im not impressed by it.

The soundtrack is sentimental orchestra type music (very wussy) with so far, the occasional guitar thrown in.

The thing that annoys me is the constant movie scenes, i dont mind em spaced out, but so far ive counted 4 at most one after the other, and in parts of the game its like, you watch a movie, walk 10 mtrs, kill a monster or 2 then watch another movie. Gets a bit much.

The only other final fantasy game ive played is 10, which i liked a lot, plent of heavy metal and awe inspiring movies. FF!13's movies are usualy simple storie explanations, nothing breathtaking, but im only on the second disc, so im still hoping.

From the moment this clip started my heart sank, was this to be another vain game, all in the air with orchestra, proud of their graphics and pretentious? (hope i explained that right )

Have you tried 12? I loved it. I wish they would take 10 & 12 and use them as the model for all future games. Thast my idea on the FF system.

Well 12 has a good story but do u want to put 180 hours into the game is my question I have just motored through this one 20 hours and haven't even reached any freeroam which is what makes the game fun. I am hoping after I get though Cid that I can get some freeroam going.

I feel you on the free roam thing. I am board to death with this point a to point b crap. I want to hunt for shit and try to find the top weapons like always this game s really starting to suck.

Ok 30 hours in and guess what?......finally some free roam I was about to write this game off as a flop but holy hell there is something other than story line bull. Thank god haven't touched the game in two weeks because I thought they killed the series with this one thank god there is more than just the story line.....
