yeah well, just trying to interpret microsofts article on the kenetic, so its all about definitions, not that it matters.
So i read your wiki link,...
'This growing use of the term "hack" is to refer to a program that (sometimes illegally) modifies another program, often a computer game, giving the user access to features otherwise inaccessible to them'
or
'The term is additionally used by electronics hobbyists to refer to simple modifications to electronic hardware such as a graphing calculators, video game consoles, electronic musical keyboards or other device'
So, if as microsoft said, thier software and hardware have not been modified then i guess going by the wiki definition you supplied, then I am correct. To quote microsoft....
"Kinect for Xbox 360 has not been hacked -- in any way -- as the software and hardware that are part of Kinect for Xbox 360 have not been modified." the company said in a statement e-mailed to CNN.
"What has happened is someone has created drivers that allow other devices to interface with the Kinect for Xbox 360. The creation of these drivers, and the use of Kinect for Xbox 360 with other devices, is unsupported."
lol
