According to the Namco Youtube Channel for Europe, the release of AC:JA is scheduled to be around late July.

I think that is the general sentiment for Namco from almost the entire flight community. They have been the leading game developer for the XBOX360 and its been 3 1/2 years? We are all ready for the next xbox ACE COMBAT.

There only hope to ease this wait is to make such an effort with uilding it the way we have asked for, that we don't mind and we all go out and buy the game in triplacate. But that is just me. Give me a personal hangar to customize my planes. Give me a shop to sweek the settings a bit and allow for us to choose how the plane handles. Then we have a whole new era in flight games.

There is an idea. Let me choose how much armor to drop to boost the maneuving level. Let me see how much thrust to stability controll I wan't. Give me the controll to shift the settings so far one way I can just pull all kinds of crazy stuff. Now that will be awsome. I have seen my brothers and friends do this stuff in car games why not have the same thng in the planes? Let us alter the flow of combat with custome settings? I say do it NAMCO.

you get to technical and your going to lose people who play that game for the simplicity of it though jason. and not saying its any of you guys but i see more and more people who play because its learning curve is simple. you start addding more and more complicated features then people are going to leave. albiet customizable plans are a godsend, but dont get it to technical for the little guys.

Have you ever played any of the racing games? Like forza or midnightclub? They all have kits you buy with in-game credits to make your cars better. Its the same thing. Just let us have the options. But leave things set up with auto settings and some auto boosting options if you don't want to do the work yourself. Like just say you want a stronger armored plane. It drops all the other stats to give you more armor. If you ask for 10% it drops 1% from all other stats to make up for the difference. So if you have 100 points to direct towards 6 differant settings then you just play with balance. Its simple and easy. Plus you cane have auto buttons.
 

But anyways they wont ever do this cause its what most the elite gamers want. And after all you can give your fanatic fans what they want that would just go against the rules.

very true very true. but in the future if we can get a developer to do that or something along those lines would be a very fine game indeed. plus if they made one for PC i need an ace combat lol
