It allows games to have more detailed environments, longer draw distances (think open world games such as The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim), better enemy artificial intelligence, faster multiplayer experiences and the ability to cram more stuff on the screen.
I wonder why they are going with the 6000 series and not the 7000. PC graphics will have already far surpassed xbox by release, again.Quote from: NC GRAVE on January 26, 2012, 03:19:14 AMhttp://mashable.com/2012/01/25/xbox-720-rumor/?WT.mc_id=en_top_stories&utm_campaign=Top%2BStoriesAll that anticipated extra power on the fabled Xbox 720 isn’t just about graphic fidelity. Don't enhanced graphics and processing need more bandwidth for multiplayer? I don't know a lot about that stuff, but--if BF3 is as laggy as it is, how much worse is a next gen system gonna be with the same type of internet?I could be totally missing the mark here, but still a concern.
