Well, SMS and Aces of Chaos had their match. However we need to conversate with Doc over all of this. We had a lot of lag during all of the matches, even though we were hosting because we didn't think Omega's red connection could handle ten people.

I know we were hosting and I've heard that the other team had little to no lag at all, but speaking from my own experiences in the match, I can say that it was considerable lag. I was getting popped by Standard Missiles from XLAA range for example.

Myself and Omega talked about this a bit after the match and we decided to bring this all to Doc, in order to find out what we'll do about this. We both did agree that if Doc would want us to run a quick 10 minute sort of Deathmatch-thing, each team would be down for it.

Once again, we need a bit of assistance with this Doc.

Not to mention killing someone from behind only to have a normal missile from them kill you seconds later, when there was no ESM around for it to get QAAM-like on you.

Yeah, it was pretty laggy. I was shot down from across the map by a Standard Missile from someone that just respawned. Not to mention getting shot down by missiles that were a radar ring a way or more. I even had my point total lag when I killed someone. It took a while for the points to come in after I killed someone.

I was getting lagged out, invisible qaams, and saams got me.   Planes skipped across my screen then I'd randomly explode.  I also noticed when I came out the debrief screen , half the other team went from a red bar up to a green/yellow bar connection.

i don't know what to say. my team had no lag. everyone on both teams had green or blue connections on all three matches. no one got dropped from any of the matches. and i have proof that everyone had a green or blue connection. i have never been in a match where everyone have a good connection and have lag in the match. and you wanted to host all three matches. so i will not post any scores until doc gives his verdict.

That Green/Blue you see before a game means extremely little in game. All it takes into account is what your speed limit is on your connection, not what your actual functional connection is to other people, nor does it take into account your connection to others in the room, only your connection strictly to the host.

Well,

I think it's unfortunate that it appears that something was a miss with your guy's match. I talked to Skull 1 and Ribbon blue last night. Unfortunately, this problem occurred while SMS Skull 1 was hosting. From what I understood last night, the two previous matches went down without a hitch...and Omega's Team never saw anything weird through all 3 rounds.
This is one of those things, where I don't doubt that you guys prolly saw what you saw, but due to the way the internet is, there's not much I can really do about it.
All 3 rounds were completed, and the Skull's had the advantage of hosting. The Lag didn't appear to effect Omega's team...so the match must stand.
It's a fickle finger of fate thing guys. IF you play long enough in internet tourney's, it will eventually effect everyone sooner or later. Doesn't do you guys much good, but thank gawd, things like this only come up every once in a while.

Match is awarded to Ace's of Chaos...due to winning 2 rounds to 1. Will update win/loss chart...and would like to see the score cards please. Could someone put them up.

Apologies to the Skull's...it's a shitty deal. But you already have everyone respect as pilot Gamers...and in the long run, this match doesn't really effect the tourney at all, as you will still either be...in 1st place...or a possible tie in said position...but it's still first place. And you'd still have to defend that in the championship anyway.
