I said I would buy dog tags, buy awards, pay for engraving, and pay for the postage.
What thread are you looking at? The only reason I even mention my donation is to inspire more donations by taking the lead. Last tourney, I donated 100.00..but because a few vouchers didnt come in..it actually cot me 224.00.
Thats why there is two numbers. There's money promised and money recieved. If you had read the whole thread..you would have seen what was happening as the money came in. But you didnt, did you?
Actually.. One donators second donation of 20.00 didnt come in..so the pool ended at $265.00 and never actually reach 285.00. But his first 20.00 did..so who cares. It's a Donation pool, and I was happy with the help I got.
With simple math..even with deduction of the discount I got on the awards for being honest...229.00 for awards and engraving. The Dog tags cost 53.00...makes 283.00...postage boxes are going to cost about 4.95 times 6...and about 11.25 for 2 more....and you still got to pay if they go over weight or shipped out of country. Estimated postage without international or over weight fees....58.00. So 341.00. And 265.00 is what came in...were would you like whats left sent?

Now you notice my donation of 50? Now add it up...265.00 and estimated cost was 341.00. You notice something there? There's 76.00 dollars missing.
I could have called the whole thing off for lack of funds..but who do you think picked up the tab?
Add it to my donation...126.00 bucks. Even with the award discount, I'm still the largest Donator....and that's fine.
Cause it's stuff like that which defines who I am.
