From what I have seen, We all agree Co-Op story mode, and more planes like in Ace Combat 2 with over 30 planes! Also a paint your own plane scheme and more custom stuff to work with, along with caln support, and better muti player maps and opinions.

Now my three things I like to see is.

1. The planes have bit more research behind them. Yes the F-14 is fats then the F/A-18, but no way its going to beat it down every time they go one on one.

2. Here is a idea, if the plane allows it, have co pilot opinions, cause well as want to say talk to me goose, how is our six. They can help you find key targets like stealth planes, and hell even allow split screen fun for 2 players offline and online.

3. Don't get me wrong I love the story for AC 6, one of the best but nothing compare to AC 5 and AC 0. Not to mention I loved how there where random missions or ending from them depending on your actions. but do keep the muti-objective and evolving battle field of 6 that was fun saving warlord tank squad at the last minute as they are getting blast by enemy armor and air support.

4. This one i recalled just before posting. Bring back mid-air collisions. I was shocked they took it out in 6 other then the big huge ships. I know it can be  pain, but hey you got to keep a eye out for other planes also, and that will add a a lot of difficulty to mutiplayer also.

Ever crashed into a C-17? They take no damage, as if a multi-ton glass-and metal jet filled with warheads and kerosene impacting you at Mach 1.5 was a tennis ball. Kamekazi may be pointless, but it can be fun once you're just replaying campaign stuff for old times sake.

You can crash in the AC-130's over the airfield in Siege 1 and into the C-17's in Siege 2.  I am going to have to play campaign again and see if I can crash into the Nimrod planes in Anea Landing.  I did fly an F-14 IM to try and outrun that SR-71, to no avail!

TOP 3 CHANGES FOR AC 7??

That's hard....

1.  Have a multi-era campaign mode.  (WWI Era, WWII Era, Korea Era, Vietnam Era, and Modern Era)
2.  Realistic Aircraft from every era.
3.  No Super Fighters no Heavy Command Cruisers or Super Weapons.

um.....AC7....is like 2~3 years away....
I hope that they will release some kind of 270 degree screen that will work with NATAL...
so you can actually look at the target and lock on the target with QAAM

and.... customizable weapon on each hard point and weapon bay

ohhh and able to fly bigger aircraft such as B-1/2/52 E-767
which also means the potential of having new online PVP mode

i will be pissed if they dont have my F-14; also i wouldnt mind trying out a F-4 Wild Weasel. Also customized paint jobs so i dont have to be in a plane with cherry blossums and feel awkward :(

we should be hearing something about AC7 sometime this year. they release a ace combat game for counsels every 3 to 4 years. and since this is the third year we should hear some thing later this year after this new psp ace combat game comes out. but i am hoping that we hear something at E3.

                        well this is not greatly thought out so there may be more later, but...
            1. I definitely want to see more planes, i was VERY disappointed with the number on this game. Maybe i am just spoiled... but i want it all, i want all plane types and variations.
            2. Custom load out. have heard several ask for this and some good ideas on how it should work, number of hardpoints, make a point system, to allocate so maybe if you want a butt load of bombs, and no missiles, or vice versa,  and yes definitly be able to load more than 2 weapons, maybe a mix of the two ideas, number of hard points and a point allocation system, so that i can carry a few bombs, primary missiles, secondary missiles, and some rockets all on the same plane just maybe not a whole shit ton of them, but at least let me be the judge of how they are proportioned.    And yes it would be GREAT to be able to change what your plane looks like, paint schemes and decals, so that you are more easily identifiable from afar. or at least your affiliation is identifiable.
           3. Co-op every mission, maps useable on all game play types.
      there is so much more but i will leave it at this for now.

I can only hope the makers will read this thread and take it into account when they design the AC7 game. If not we will be in for another sub par sweet game. Just as AC6 was great but lacked that luster to push it beyond the FPS market.

Well, here is hoping that the new Ace Combat includes some of the many changes we all want to see. Interesting to read all of the above suggestions, and I wonder what we'll get in the end.

And I agree, my biggest fear is not the potential improvements, but more that they will fuck it up.

Yeah. Its going to be a hard thing to swallow if they screw this up. They have had HAWX teach them that giving us the custom setting we want is a good thing.

We will need to hope they won't go and add the stupid OFF mode from hawx. But other than tat they have a good example to go by of how to make a great game.

I would have to disagree with that statement. HAWX is a good example of exactly what not to do, when you want to make a great flight game. HAWX doesn't even compare to Ace Combat. A lot of people played AC6 and loved it for years,.....years man. I knew HAWX was a pile of shit 5 minutes in.
