ACS ISC 2011
« on: April 05, 2011, 05:41:01 PM »

Yeah, it's Sinner.

I come to you not as a squadron rival, but as a community manager for Ace Combat: Assault Horizon for Namco Bandai.  With that, I am here to get the websites together.  While we've never really gotten along, this is an offer for you guys to join us.  Nothing more, nothing less.  But I tell you, this is not fandom anymore, but real involvement with Namco Bandai America and the upcoming Ace Combat Assault Horizon.

Expect this to start within the month.  Have to get our map done and our teams together.  Feel free to join.  I'm currently working on getting prizes together, substantial ones.  We'll see what we can get together.

You know tho...

Got to hand it to Sinners for balls...

I'm impressed...really, so I left this thread alone. What the Hell (WTH)!

He came, went, and left a respectful invitation. I just hope AHAC is that good....(See Omega there's still a little HOPE left in the world, it's not completely dead yet). But I still want to actually wait and see how good it is before I go joining any  tourney....yet....other wise I'd prolly go check it out.

Goodluck tho Sinners, maybe next time.

I wouldn't call this balls.

I'd call this 'extending the olive branch' once again to see if you guys want to join in the actual Ace Combat community.  You guys are fans after all, why remain so averse to the gaming community that represents the majority of fans of the game?

If anything, if helps you guys show up on Namco Bandai's radar, get your thoughts in on the game and help improve the title overall.  Honestly, you guys play the game the most.  Though this website seems to have died, there remains a select few that really put the time in.

This is your chance to be a part of the community, not against it.

Well,

The olive branch has been excepted. Speaking for myself, anyway.
And I'll be looking forward to seeing both, the quality of the new game, and what the first shot at tourney play looks like on ACS.

But this is home, and its where at least my hat is hung. And tho, true there are few regulars..at least presently, there are many that do check in, not even TCS or XBL in origin. But most are just busy, or waiting for the new release. This is more a hang out..and not really a site.

But I meant Goodluck when I said it...I'm always interested in well run events. And now I have your invite to check out the games progress on ACS after it's release. I already admire the jump start and the fact your organising an event without even playing the game. Takes balls and you have my best wishes.

Dont worry Doc,

we've been running tournys longer than this site has been around.  We should be good to go
 ;)

Hope to see some of you come out, since you apparently play more than we do.  Would be nice to have some active players join in, you know?

I don't take kindly to being insulted, 'He who is with-out'. I started online with the F-22...that is still my plane of choice. The rest, I do at my squads request. Dude, why did you have to piss me off...? You, can count me in.

OH hell Jim,

He's not fooling anyone...so no hurt done. Tourney's do get screwed up, they did here, they do there. As I heard about the 2 on 2 *Crash Strategy* Tourney on ACS as reported to me by the *Community.* Hosted by "He who isn't absolutely without sin."
And yes Sinners, we know how long ACS has been up, I think you kindly remind us at least once a year on your brief visits..hehehe. But now it's year 3 and not our first 6 months.

But Jim,  I just let it go without comment, as I was OK with turning a page. At least trying to.

So just let it go. Tourney's, Ego's, and Stupidity mixed in with internet invincibility, has always been instruments of a struggle no matter who you are.

But....
he still has my "Good luck" wishes in the spirit of Olive Branches, White Doves, and Penguins in Stripped PJ's! LOL!

Just to give you guys a heads up:

DARKNESS is joining in, so is WMS.

Prizes are as follows:

The Winning Team will receive the flightstick bundle, signed by one of the big names at Project Aces (courtesy of Namco Bandai)

The Top Ace will receive a 120GB Xbox 360 with wireless controller and wireless mic (courtesy of SAAM I AM and the S&S)

The Squadron with the narrowest margin of loss will receive $65 gift cards to GameStop

We still implore you gentlemen to sign up, this one is being looked at by Namco Bandai rather intently, and when ACAH comes out, there could be an even bigger tournament, one with some hefty cash prizes ;)

Sorry  Sinners, but I'm afraid your advertising falls on def ears here. Very few active players come to this site anymore, and now it's mostly just a social board for a few tight friends. Awesome prizes, though. wish my team was still around.
