A. C. T. Course alterations
« on: October 18, 2011, 02:50:06 PM »
I am greatly pleased to announce that the ACT program is now near completion for AC AH and will resume class in about a week. I would like to thank all those who helped me get the info I need to help gamers develop there combat skills in the skies of games.

I am going to need some help if the student load gets big so any player who wants to see the class and think about running it once every two weeks would be great. I know that our time is our own and the class is made to max the training and min the time taken from you.  I am writing out the exact course so all you have to do is read it while you fly the path set up for the students. Try not to go beyond the course cause we only want to teach the basic skills first. This is not an course to teach you beat the best this course is here to teach you how to learn and become the best. Only practice and skill will win in the end but a little help along the way can't hurt can it?

Well it is almost done guys. I have 90% of the  new A C T course down on paper and it is ready for a test run with my group so stay tuned for the results this Sunday. We are having a test on the first two class levels and going to run them a few times each so I work out all the kinks before putting it on the site. I hope you guys that are waiting for this can hold out till its done cause I will tell you now the stuff we have learned this week is top notch stuff and its a combined effort from three squadrons pulling together and working on the program as hard as we can. The battle all the time was our testing ground to test almost everything we could for the first two levels of skill. It will take a full month to finish the Ace level class so keep watching and be ready for some way cool info.

Well its now in full swing. We held our first class last night and it went off perfect. It was a very good feeling to be back in the instructors seat again. I must say there is no greater feeling than watching a gamer get better and better the longer the class goes on. I have just a few students right now but that is soon to change as we are now wrapping up the battle all the time event and going to be informing every room we are in of the ACT program hosted by this site. I have a training page on my own site to hold all my info but this site is the host site and I make sure I give the credit to those its due.

This is the info we are teaching the students. Let me know if its too much or not enough?

The A C T course will be including BF3 aircraft in its course for those who want it. Although with the conntrolls set  up the same way they were in battlefield 1943. So just use the same skills you alway showed.

I'd be down for that. I played a good chunk of '43 in my day so I could help.

That is the best way to be an ace at the planes fast.

If you have ever played Battlefield 1943 on coral sea or nabbed a plane in a match simply go to the jet option in the settings and switch the "Jet Buttons" to alternate. This will turn the flight control setup the exact same as they were in 1943.

Just be mindful that your in jets and not props. You slow down slower and turn faster than before.
