Okay, this one should be a little tough to crack you get no clues but the ones below, lets see what you come up with.

The creator of it does not keep it.
And the recipient does not know it.
If you know it then you wont want it.
The destroyer of it searches for it.

My reasoning is as follows;

The creator of a coffin doesn't need it, because if he made it, chances are he's still alive and kickin' and doesn't need it.

the recipient doesn't know it because, well, if he needs a coffin logic states he's dead, right?

If you've been told you need a coffin, you're probably still alive and would punch whoever gave it to you.

And for the final point, grave robbers have no respect for the dead, so why respect the box they're in?

I heard that one once before, but nobody told me the answer so I tortured myself for a month and finally figured it out.
